PBGS provides messaging infrastructure to business customers. We are the data intermediary for messages routed through our platform on behalf of our customers, who remain the data controller for end-user personal data such as recipient phone numbers and message content.
2. Personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Contact information: names, business email addresses, telephone numbers, and job titles provided by you or your organisation.
- Account information: credentials, authentication factors, and account configuration data.
- Service metadata: API keys, sender IDs, routing preferences, and audit logs of platform activity.
- Traffic data: message metadata (sender, recipient, timestamps, delivery status). We do not store message bodies beyond what is required for delivery and customer-requested retention windows.
- Website analytics: aggregate, anonymised data about traffic to this website.
3. Purposes of use
We use personal data for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and improve our messaging services.
- To respond to enquiries, provide customer support, and manage our business relationship with you.

5. Disclosure

- Operators and aggregator partners as necessary to deliver messages and provide our services.
- Service providers who support our operations (cloud hosting, monitoring, billing), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Regulators and law enforcement where required by Singapore law or comparable legal process.
- Acquirers in the context of a corporate transaction, subject to confidentiality and continuity of this policy.
6. Cross-border transfers
We may transfer personal data outside of Singapore in the course of delivering messages globally and operating cloud infrastructure. We require recipients to provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA through contractual safeguards.
7. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as is necessary to provide our services, meet our contractual and legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Traffic metadata is retained for a default period of 12 months for support and audit purposes, unless a longer or shorter period is contractually agreed.
8. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, and disclosure. These include encryption in transit, encrypted storage of credentials, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Withdraw previously given consent.
- Object to processing on legitimate grounds.
